The Service Meister consortia, represented by eco - Association of the Internet Industry as consortia
lead and deltaDAO AG have agreed to join forces to shape the future of AI and sovereign federated
data ecosystems. The agreed collaboration aims to increase ecosystem interoperability and service
portability, building on Eclipse XFSC (formerly GXFS-DE) and the Pontus-X ecosystem.
"With this collaboration we want to set an example of how a successful setup of a federated
ecosystem can work, using different free and open-source components. We hope that this
collaboration can serve as a blueprint for others seeking to become active in the Community work
for data ecosystems." - Andreas Weiss, Managing Director, eco - Association of the Internet Industry.

"This collaboration with eco marks a significant milestone in our journey. Together, we are poised to
set new standards in ecosystem interoperability, ensuring that our users and customers benefit from
the best of both worlds: Eclipse XFSC and the Pontus-X ecosystem", said Kai Meinke, Co-Founder and
Member of the Executive Board of deltaDAO AG.
The collaboration is set to kick off with a joint initiative Service Management, an AI based service
ecosystem for technical services in the age of Industry 4.0., aimed at integrating key features and
functionalities from both ecosystems. Service-Meister has designed a service platform for small and
medium-sized companies that can be used across production plants, departments, and companies,
creating a service ecosystem enabling SMEs to benefit from the change in digital value creation.
“We are particularly proud to unveil the integration of an enhanced Service-Meister ecosystem and
related use case into the Pontus-X ecosystem where selected Service-Meister AI applications can be
found and consumed. All in all, Service-Meister is intended to provide small and medium-sized
companies with a low-threshold introduction to the use of AI tools for technical service.” says Hauke
Timmermann, project lead of Service-Meister.
